Bainbridge St.(Washington to Monroe) and Dexter Ave.(Bainbridge to Decatur) to CLOSE today for paving as the City of Montgomery continues its streetscape project downtown in preparation for the upcoming 50th Anniversary of the Selma to Montgomery Voting Rights March and the 60th Anniversary of the Bus Boycott. Roads will reopen to traffic tomorrow morning.

The City of Montgomery, Montgomery County and Alabama State University encourage the public to participate in a commemorative march of the final leg of the Selma-to-Montgomery Voting Rights Trail scheduled for March 25. This event is free and open to the public.
